JDA (Blue Yonder) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional with deep expertise in JDA (Blue Yonder) applications and Common Knowledge Base (CKB), specifically in migration projects. The ideal candidate will lead and execute migration activities, ensuring seamless transition of data and applications while maintaining system integrity and performance.
________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Migration Execution: o Plan and perform CKB migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading. o Handle SQL upgrades for analytical workloads, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Application Upgrade: o Support JDA version upgrades and related configuration changes. o Collaborate with business teams to validate application/report migration. • Pipeline Enhancement: o Extend existing data pipelines for parallel SQL / BQ loads and incremental updates. o Implement robust data validation and reconciliation processes. • Testing & Quality Assurance: o Develop and execute regression test cases (approx. 100 high-level cases as per current standards). o Ensure compliance with deployment freezes and CRQ processes for production environments. • Stakeholder Coordination: o Work closely with business analytics teams, DBAs, and compute teams for environment setup and migration timelines. o Provide regular updates and documentation for leadership and project stakeholders. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: • Technical Expertise: o Strong knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder applications and CKB architecture. o Hands-on experience in SQL Server, Google BigQuery, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Azure Data Factory). • Migration Experience: o Proven track record in CKB migration projects and JDA upgrades. o Familiarity with historical data migration and incremental load strategies. • Testing & Automation: o Understanding of regression testing; automation experience is a plus. • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. o Ability to work under tight timelines and deployment constraints. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Google Cloud certification (BigQuery or Generative AI Leader is a plus). • Experience in retail domain and large-scale migration programs.
