Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development and should have worked across a diverse range of projects. Experience in the marine or shipping industry will be a strong advantage. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Work on a wide variety of technical projects with a strong focus on performance and scalability
• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure integration with front-end and third-party systems
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Required Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies
• Proficiency in REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with tools such as Maven & Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and Docker
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus
• Familiarity with JIRA, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred:

• Prior experience in Marine / Shipping / Logistics domain
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java & Spring Boot (Strictly enforced)
• Candidates with marine/shipping project background will be given preference
