Java Tech Leader

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Leader to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality enterprise and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, solid architectural knowledge, and the ability to mentor developers while collaborating closely with product and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of Java-based and microservices-driven applications
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices architectures
• Define microservices standards including service communication, API contracts, versioning, and resilience patterns
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and best-practice enforcement
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver solutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and security guidelines
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems and microservices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based deployments
• Drive adoption of best practices such as service discovery, load balancing, and fault tolerance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Proven experience with Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, inter-service communication, and API gateways
• Solid understanding of OOPs, design patterns, system design, and distributed systems
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities
