Java Quarkus Developer

Strong Java development skills and familiarity with the Quarkus framework, and experience with microservices architecture. Specifically, candidates should be comfortable with Java 17 (or later) and have experience with CDI, REST APIs, and potentially containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 

Java Proficiency: Strong understanding of Java programming language, object-oriented design, and common Java frameworks. 

Quarkus Expertise: Hands-on experience with Quarkus, including its core features, extensions, and best practices. Experience with popular Quarkus extensions like REST, reactive programming, or data access.  

Microservices Architecture:Experience building and deploying applications using microservices, ideally with Quarkus. 

CDI (Contexts and Dependency Injection): Familiarity with CDI, a core part of Quarkus for dependency injection and bean management. 

RESTful APIs: Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, a common pattern for microservices communication. 

Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes for containerizing and deploying Quarkus applications. 

Build Tools: Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle, often used with Quarkus projects. 

Testing: Knowledge of testing strategies and frameworks for Quarkus applications. 

DevOps Practices: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. 

Problem-solving and Communication:Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaborating with teams. 

Database Knowledge: Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) database. 

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms - Google Cloud.
