Java Programmer

Role Overview: As a Java Programmer at our company in Mohali, your main responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications. You will be writing efficient, maintainable, and testable Java code based on technical requirements. Additionally, you will design and implement software components, APIs, and backend services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying updated with the latest Java technologies and best practices are also key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Write efficient, maintainable, and testable Java code based on technical requirements. - Design and implement software components, APIs, and backend services. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. - Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and other developers. - Maintain documentation for code, technical specifications, and processes. - Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming. - Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate. - Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns. - Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
