Java Lead Engineer

Summary:

You shall be a part of the Tech team, who has the ability to evolve, lead and drive new ideas. The focus of the team is on Next age Technology in use and being built for the Corporate Banking space. The core area of deliverables for this team is on large Corporate Banking Technology transformation project which is already ongoing in the Bank. As a part of this team, with the required expertise, you will have the opportunity to learn firsthand from some of the best in industry and have significant growth and development opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities:

Experienced on Trade Finance platform, should be able to handle customizations and solutions on trade products and surrounding ecosystems. Need to work with development teams using Agile development methodology to deliver business requirement in timely manner with quality. Involve actively in business requirement discussions and functional / technical feasibility analysis. Track and maintain critical performance metrics for the application for management reporting and quality improvement. Stakeholder management. Design and automate zero-touch operations. Ensure continuous availability (24X7) of end-to-end tech stack used to run production and test-dev environments. DR drills and DR automation. Work closely with security team for closure of VA/PT/Audit observations and compliance requirements. Attend technology audit requirements. Monitoring and reporting. 

Qualifications: 

• 9+ years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent

• BE or BTech 

Technical Skill:

For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess skills / knowledge of following:

a. Experience managing Trade Finance applications

b. Experience in Java

c. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) approaches

d. DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory etc.)

e. Shell Scripting

f. Test automation frameworks

g. PL/SQL

h. IBM WAS & Oracle database server.

i. Experience in Agile SCRUM methodology

j. Hands on experience on app security essentials (OWASP top 10 mitigations etc.)

k. Technical exposure / conceptual knowledge of Databases (Oracle), Network & Security components, Identity and Access management (AD, TDS), Load balancers (H/w and S/w) Hybrid Cloud Infra, VMware etc. 

Soft Skills:

a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

b. DevOps mindset and understanding of impact of underlying infra components

c. Team player with a solid attitude to gel up with cross functional team

d. Banking domain exposure is a plus.

e. Always in lookout in learning new stuffs. GitHub publications, Stack overflow contributions, Blogs, personal works for showcase will be plus.
