Criminals are everywhere, invisible, virtual and sophisticated Traditional ways to prevent and investigate crime and terror are no longer enough Technology is changing incredibly fast The criminals know it, and they are taking advantage of it We know it too For nearly 30 years, the incredible minds of Cognyte around the world have worked closely together and put their expertise to work, to keep up with constantly evolving technological and criminal trends and help make the world a safer place with leading investigative analytics software solutions We are defined by our dedication to doing good and this translates to business success, meaningful work friendships, a can-do attitude, and deep curiosity We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Java Full Stack Developer to join our cyber intelligence team in India You will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies, and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that will significantly contribute to making our world safer and more secure As a Cognyter you will: Function as a major part of a cross-functional, high performing, global development team Responsible for development and support of a core application of a complex product solution Build, design and develop Java components in a desktop/cloud native system, with a focus on quality, performance, high availability and low latency Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems For that mission youll need: BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent At least 5 years hands-on experience in full-stack software development of high-performance complex systems Strong knowledge and experience with Java ecosystem (with emphasis on Java 8 and 21) Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat 8 (or newer) and/or JBoss 3 (or newer) Strong knowledge and experience with Web Sockets/REST/SOAP Experience with concepts such as multithreading, profiling and application servers Experience with Relational Databases (CRUD operations, Joins, etc) Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Scripting experience (Shell, Powershell, Python) Experience with web development technologies, preferably Angular and NodeJS, but JavaScript, TypeScript, React are also considered a Plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively An Advantage Experience with desktop-based C# applications (and frameworks like WPF, WinForms) CI/CD knowledge with hands-on experience in tools like: Jenkins, Maven/ANT Oracle OCA/OCP Certification (Java 8 or above)
