About The Opportunity

Role: Full Stack Developer (Java/React/Node/Azure)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable web apps using Java 11+, React, Node, and Azure PaaS.
  • Build RESTful microservices, integrate third-party APIs, and ensure end-to-end security and observability.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, automated testing, and containerised deployments.
  • Optimise SQL/NoSQL data stores, caching, and message queues for high performance.
  • Collaborate with UX, QA, and DevOps in Agile sprints, providing technical leadership and code reviews.
  • Monitor production workloads, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve code quality and performance.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 3-6 years designing full-stack apps with Java (Spring Boot) and React or Node.
  • Hands-on Azure experience—App Services, Functions, Storage, Cosmos DB, ARM/Bicep or Terraform.
  • Strong REST API design, microservices patterns, and event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency with Git, unit/integration testing (JUnit, Jest), and CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
  • Solid grasp of SQL, query optimisation, and basic NoSQL concepts.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Experience with server-side rendering, Next.js, or GraphQL.
  • Exposure to DDD, TDD, and secure coding standards (OWASP).
