Role Summary

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications that meet business process and application requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate specifications into high-quality features, contribute to problem-solving discussions, and drive successful project outcomes with innovative solutions and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an SME for Spring Boot and related components; collaborate with and guide the team to deliver outcomes.
• Take ownership of team-level technical decisions and contribute to cross-team architectural choices.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy application features aligned to business needs and quality standards.
• Provide solutions to complex problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, code reviews, and best-practice adoption to elevate team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have

• Strong proficiency in

  Spring Boot

  (5+ years).
• Solid understanding of

  RESTful web services

  and

  microservices architecture

  .
• Experience with

  relational databases

  and

  SQL

  (e.g., schema design, query optimization).
• Familiarity with

  Git

  (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews).

Good-to-Have

• Experience with

  Java Enterprise Edition (JEE/Jakarta EE)

  .
• Exposure to build and dependency tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle) and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
