Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, algorithms, and
multithreading, preferably within financial services or investment banking. The ideal candidate should have
experience working with JVM internals, scripting, and FIX Protocol, and be comfortable working in an Agile
environment.

Mandatory Skills:
Strong development experience in Core Java
Proficient in algorithms, and multithreading/concurrency
Solid understanding of JVM internals and performance tuning
Familiarity with Git, Gradle, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting
Exposure to Agile software development methodologies

Desired Skills:
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn and interest in investment banking or financial systems
Experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins
Working knowledge of FIX Protocol for financial market integration

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business analysts
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Analyze and troubleshoot production issues
Contribute to architectural decisions and performance optimizations

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
Experience in financial services, trading systems, or market connectivity is a plus
