Java Developer / Architect

Role & responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to provide functional & non-functional requirements for new features or products.
• Use tools & methodologies to formulate representation for functions, UI, UX of desired features.
• Develop high level product specs considering system integration & feasibility.
• Contribute to setting all aspects of development like appropriate technology, workflow & coding standards.
• Oversee progress of project to ensure consistency with design.
• Ensure all requirements of quality, security, scalability, etc. are met.
• Communicate all concepts & guidelines to the development team.
• Approve final build before release.
• Provide the required hands-on software development and project management.
• Design the solution to help with prototyping and development, and take solution through to launch and market.
• Work closely with software engineers, QA and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
• Demonstrate thought leadership and become a trusted advisor to decision makers.
• Provide customer and market feedback to the product and engineering teams, and influence product direction.
• Travel for technical meetings and conferences.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Rich experience as Software Architect.
• Experience in software development & coding in Java related frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of coding & application design & architecture
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design.
• Spring framework, SpringBoot.
• Knowledge of GIT version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• Knowledge of Azure/ AWS/ GCP.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
• Technical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Organizational and leadership skills.
• Communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem solving abilities
