Java Backend Developer

As a skilled developer specializing in microservices, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, efficient, and secure microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features while ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Additionally, you will implement best practices for microservices architecture, including API design, security, and performance optimization, and contribute to the system architecture's design and implementation. Ensuring high availability and resilience of the microservices architecture will also be a key focus. Your role will involve developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, monitoring and managing microservices deployment in various environments, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, test, and production environments. Effective communication and collaboration with frontend and backend developers, QA, and DevOps teams, along with participation in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation are essential aspects of the role. Regular maintenance and updates to microservices, ensuring their security and integrity, and providing timely support for production issues will be part of your responsibilities. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns, experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools, familiarity with RESTful APIs, messaging systems, CI/CD tools, database technologies, monitoring and logging tools, as well as understanding of DevOps practices and principles are required skills. Ideally, you should have experience with cloud platforms, at least 4 years of software development experience with a focus on microservices, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work independently, effective task management, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and development. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is also beneficial for this role.,
