Java Architect

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java technologies, modern frameworks, and distributed systems, with a proven track record of establishing technical excellence and guiding development teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance Java-based solutions for enterprise applications
• Lead technical decision-making and establish architectural patterns and best practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and design principles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the technology stack

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong command of core Java concepts
• Proven experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus frameworks for building microservices
• Solid understanding of Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data processing
• Strong expertise in RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) including database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Deep knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture fundamentals
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/BDD methodologies
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache SOLR for search and indexing capabilities
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of security best practices and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
