About the Role:

JAMF Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and management of Apple macOS and iOS devices using JAMF Pro.



• 
  

  Act as the primary SME for JAMF-related architecture, integrations, and process improvements.



• 
  

  Develop and maintain configuration profiles, policies, and scripts to automate device management.



• 
  

  Collaborate with security, network, and endpoint teams to enforce compliance and security standards.



• 
  

  Troubleshoot complex issues across the Apple ecosystem and implement effective solutions.



• 
  

  Provide strategic guidance for Apple enterprise deployments, including zero-touch provisioning (DEP/ABM integration).



• 
  

  Maintain thorough documentation of systems, policies, and procedures.



• 
  

  Train, mentor, and guide junior team members and administrators.



• 
  

  Evaluate new JAMF features, integrations, and best practices; provide recommendations for enhancements.



• 
  

  Assist in audits, reporting, and governance activities related to endpoint security and compliance.



• 
  

  Work closely with global teams and stakeholders to support enterprise-wide Apple device management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  

  10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years hands-on experience with JAMF Pro administration at an enterprise scale.



• 
  

  Extensive knowledge of macOS and iOS device management best practices.

  Strong experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Device Enrollment Program (DEP), and Volume Purchase Program (VPP).



• 
  

  Solid understanding of MDM principles, certificate management, and security frameworks.



• 
  

  Knowledge of network fundamentals (VPN, Wi-Fi, Proxy settings, etc.) as they relate to Apple device management.



• 
  

  Experience integrating JAMF with enterprise tools (like SIEM, ServiceNow, Azure AD, Okta, etc.).



• 
  

  Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.



• 
  

  JAMF 300 or 400 certification preferred (or equivalent proven expertise).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  

  JAMF Certified Expert (JCE) highly preferred.



• 
  

  Experience in a large-scale global enterprise environment.



• 
  

  Exposure to Windows/Android management via Intune or other MDMs is a plus.



• 
  

  ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
