IT Technology Services Specialist- SAP Basis/Virtualization/Storage

As an IT Technology Consultant for VLAB at SAP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and challenging requestor requirements while maintaining a service-oriented mindset to fulfill and serve the ECS community. Collaborating with managed service partners, you will ensure timely delivery of systems without compromising quality, managing the entire landscape, and working on ideas to reduce TCO and automate processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, challenging, and aligning new VLAB system landscape requests - Managing the VLAB to create a cost-efficient, self-organized, and transparent lab environment - Enhancing the ECS VLAB governance model & Service Catalogue in alignment with the VLAB Core Team - Driving issue resolution and identifying areas for improvement and automation - Ensuring cleanliness of central ECS VLAB tools & repositories - Guiding VLAB CTCs in setting up system landscapes - Taking ownership of assigned activities Qualifications required for this role include: - Good infrastructure knowledge, including virtualization and storage technologies, preferably hyperscaler - Hands-on experience in SAP technologies such as Databases, SAP Basis, ABAP, and JAVA - Basic understanding and usage of reporting tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent interpersonal and team skills - Ability to quickly learn, self-start, and delve into new technologies - Fluent in spoken and written English Joining the VLAB Core team as an IT Technology Consultant at SAP's Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) will expose you to a dynamic and growing environment.
