Job Description - IT System Administrator (Male)

A System Administrator are responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. They also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives.

This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Systems, Servers, Operating systems like Windows 10 /Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022, Virtualizations, and related technology.

Key Responsibilities:

 Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems,network servers, and virtualization

 Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and

resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

 Strong Oral Communication Skills to gather information from employees and explain complex

technical concepts in simple language

 Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once

 Perform Regular Backup Failure Monitoring with existing management tools and implement

appropriate processes on failover procedures

 Making sure all desktop applications, Patches, workstations, and related equipment problems

are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions

 Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems

 Responsible for assisting Teams with antivirus (Cortex) related issues, troubleshooting problems,

and ensuring their systems are protected from malware and other security threats

 Install, configure third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company

operational guidelines.

 Basic Ideas of server Cluster, SCCM and Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and Google cloud

and office365.

 Provide training as required.

Basic Qualifications:

B.S. degree in a computer science, information technology, B. Tech computer related discipline or 1+

years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

 Experience in multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Windows Systems,

Servers and Mac OS.

 Experience in Antivirus software and troubleshooting

 Must have deep and thorough understanding of Hardware Failure and system

performance related issues.

 Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles, and concepts;

application infrastructure and standards, networking fundamentals, Physical Server

architecture, Virtualization Technologies (eg: Hyper-V, VMWare) and

LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.

 Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for

access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.

 Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.

 Team Player with communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. The

role requires significant interaction with many different teams across the globe.

 Must be able to work in a team environment with a “can do” attitude capable of

overcoming difficult challenges.

 Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills.

 Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance, and productivity.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
