IT System Administrator

As an IT Support Specialist at our company, your role will involve the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software errors, documenting problems and resolutions, and prioritizing issues. Your strong oral communication skills will be essential in gathering information from employees and explaining complex technical concepts in a simple manner. Additionally, your multitasking abilities will enable you to assist multiple employees simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular backup failure monitoring using existing management tools and implement appropriate failover procedures. - Ensure timely resolution of all desktop applications, patches, workstations, and related equipment problems with minimal disruptions. - Conduct routine and scheduled audits of all systems. - Assist teams with antivirus (Cortex) related issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure systems are protected from malware and security threats. - Install and configure third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines. - Have a basic understanding of server clusters, SCCM, and cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Office365. - Provide training as necessary. Qualification Required: - 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. - Graduation in Computer Science stream.
