IT System Administrator

A System Administrator are responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. They also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives.

This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Systems, Servers, Operating systems like Windows 10 / Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022, Virtualizations, and related technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Strong Oral Communication Skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language

• Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once

• Perform Regular Backup Failure Monitoring with existing management tools and implement appropriate processes on failover procedures
• Making sure all desktop applications, Patches, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
• Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems
• Responsible for assisting Teams with antivirus (Cortex) related issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring their systems are protected from malware and other security threats
• Install, configure third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines.

• Basic Ideas of server Cluster, SCCM and Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and Google cloud and office365.

• Provide training as required.
