IT System Administrator (Cloud & Infrastructure)

Role Overview:

IT System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Administration (Azure / AWS):

• Manage and maintain cloud resources, virtual machines, storage, backups, and security configurations.
  
• Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost optimization.
  
• Implement cloud policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
  

Microsoft 365 Administration:

• Manage Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  
• Create/manage users, groups, licenses, and security policies.
  
• Provide troubleshooting support for all M365-related issues.
  

IT Infrastructure & System Administration:

• Manage on-prem servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, and network resources.
  
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware/software.
  
• Handle daily IT support requests from in-house teams.
  
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  

Network & Security:

• Configure and maintain Wi-Fi networks, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  
• Implement network security best practices and ensure system uptime.
  
• Perform regular system backups, patching, and updates.
  

Vendor & License Management:

• Manage vendor coordination and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
  
• Handle procurement and renewal of software licenses.
  
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors and service providers.
  

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain detailed documentation for systems, configurations, and processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security standards.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  
• 13 years of experience in IT system administration.
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure or AWS cloud administration

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Microsoft 365 admin center

  .
• Experience with

  Windows servers, AD, Group Policies, and networking

  .
• Familiarity with IT ticketing tools.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
