Dear Candidate, We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage, support, and improve our organizations IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of computer systems, networks, and related infrastructure to maintain a secure and efficient environment. Job Title: System Administrator Location: [Thane-Mumbai] Job Type: Full-Time Department: IT / Infrastructure Reports To: IT Manager / Director of Technology Office Mode : Work from Office only Exp - 2-4 Years Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, software, and hardware. Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Implement and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewalls. Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery planning. Ensure systems are patched and updated with latest security releases. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to internal users. Document systems, configurations, and procedures. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve processes. Enforce company IT policies and ensure compliance with security standards. Qualifications:Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments. Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Familiarity with networking concepts and tools (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). Understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
