IT Support Specialist

As a Computer Systems Administrator at our company, your role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks. You will be responsible for troubleshooting system, hardware, and software issues, ensuring system performance, reliability, and security. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical support to hospital staff and end-users - Implementing system policies and best practices - Maintaining backups and disaster recovery protocols - Staying up to date with emerging technologies and security standards Additionally, you will provide first-line support for hospital software applications such as electronic health records (EHR), laboratory information systems (LIS), and pharmacy and billing systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end-users in a timely manner and assist in the implementation and upgrades of hospital software systems. You will also work closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand their software needs, provide solutions, and collaborate with IT team members to ensure integrated support across different systems. Maintaining accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and software documentation, preparing reports on software usage and support trends, and ensuring all software use complies with hospital policies and regulatory requirements will be part of your responsibilities. You will also assist in maintaining the security and integrity of sensitive patient information. Qualifications: - BCA/BTECH/MCA/BSC in Computer Science Experience: - 1 year of experience in computer networking and hardware support preferred Education: - Bachelor's degree preferred Location: - In person at Trichur, Kerala.
