Job Description

You will be working as an IT Support Specialist at Chemosyn Limited, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Chemosyn Limited is dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare solutions and is looking for a proficient individual to join the team in Ahmedabad. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless IT operations and support the company's expanding infrastructure. As an IT Support Specialist, your role will involve providing technical support for desktop systems and server infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure operations. You will be expected to possess hands-on expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user support, and handling server-related tasks to maintain the company's IT environment. Your key responsibilities will include providing first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, resolving hardware and software issues promptly. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and software applications on user devices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot network connectivity issues, manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, and perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and backups for desktop systems. In terms of server handling, you will assist in the maintenance and monitoring of company servers to ensure uptime and performance. This will involve supporting server deployments, managing server backups, updates, and patch management, as well as monitoring server performance and network integrity. Collaboration with senior IT staff to implement server-related policies and configurations will also be part of your role. Your general IT support duties will include responding to and resolving IT support tickets, documenting IT processes and incidents, assisting in maintaining IT inventory, and providing basic training and guidance to employees on IT systems and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or server administration. Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and basic Linux systems, familiarity with server environments and networking fundamentals, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred but not mandatory. You will be offered a salary ranging from 18,000 to 25,000 per month, based on your experience and qualifications, along with benefits like Provident Fund, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday, subject to company policy. Occasional after-hours support may be required for critical server or system issues.,
