IT Service Desk Analyst I

As an IT Service Desk Analyst at Arrow Electronics, you will be at the forefront of customer support, assisting in resolving technical issues encountered by end users and connecting them with more advanced IT support as necessary. Your primary responsibilities will include managing simple hardware, software, or network problems as a Tier 1 Service Desk Analyst. The majority of your day will be spent providing remote support through various channels such as over-the-phone, screen sharing, live chat, and email. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a global service delivery team and possess a solid understanding of IT service standards like customer satisfaction and call closure norms. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with other IT functions. Experience in handling sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy is crucial, as well as the capability to analyze factual information and make informed judgments. Familiarity with an Oracle ERP environment and voice support in a Global setup is advantageous. Being adaptable to work in a 24/7 environment and night shifts is a requirement for this position.
