IT Security Engineer

Role Overview: As a part of Schaeffler, a dynamic global technology company known for its entrepreneurial spirit and long history of private ownership, you will have numerous development opportunities. Your role will involve executing IT security programs, administering day-to-day activities related to security solutions, implementing IT security policies and procedures, and collaborating with other IT teams to integrate security measures into system designs and deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Execute IT security programs and handle the installation and troubleshooting of security solutions. - Implement IT security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and agreements. - Install, configure, and update cyber security applications, testing their performance levels (white-hat-hacking). - Identify critical events, conduct analyses, detect root causes, and take immediate control measures. - Support further investigation and escalation processes. - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into system designs and deployments. Qualification Required: - Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science. - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
