Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identified and developed business opportunities for IT products and services, with a strong focus on government and PSU projects.
Handled end-to-end IT sales cycle including lead generation, requirement analysis, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Managed GeM portal activities such as product listing, bid participation, BOQ submission, L1 follow-ups, and order processing.
Coordinated with government departments, officials, and channel partners to understand project requirements and ensure timely execution.
Prepared RFP/RFQ responses, technicalcommercial proposals, presentations, and pricing documents in coordination with technical and presales teams.
Achieved sales targets through strategic account management and relationship building with key government stakeholders.
Followed up on tenders, bids, and payments, ensuring compliance with government procurement norms and timelines.
Maintained accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
Supported post-sales activities including order fulfillment, documentation, and client coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.
Stayed updated with government procurement policies, IT trends, and competitor activities to drive business growth.
Ready to join immediately and contribute from day one.

Preferred candidate profile

3-5 years of experience in IT Sales.
MBA (Marketing / Sales / Business Development preferred).
Proven experience working on Government / PSU IT projects.
Hands-on exposure to GeM portal, tenders, bids, and RFP/RFQ processes.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Immediate joiner preferred.
