Job Description

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at the company, you will be a developing professional who deals with most problems independently and has the latitude to solve complex issues. Your role involves integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards and practices. You should have a good understanding of how your team and area integrate with others to achieve objectives. Attention to detail is crucial when making judgments and recommendations based on factual information. Your work may have a moderate but direct impact on the business, affecting the effectiveness of your team and other closely related teams. Your communication and diplomacy skills are essential for exchanging potentially complex/sensitive information. Responsibilities: - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production - Conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments; report issues and make recommendations for solutions - Ensure project standards and procedures are fully documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; make recommendations for enhanced documentation - Monitor products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures - Document findings, perform preliminary root cause analyses, and provide recommended improvements - Ensure all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed - Verify traceability in project work products - Gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics - Provide informal guidance to new team members - Perform other duties and functions as assigned Qualifications: - 2-5 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred - Experience in requirement reviews and able to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Understanding of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - QA Experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use the search tools or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
