Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and tools.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and test strategies.
Analyse business and technical requirements to design detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Execute manual and automated testing across different environments (development, QA, staging, production).
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality assurance feedback.
Conduct regression, functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, IT policies, and regulatory requirements.
Measure and report key quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, test execution rate, etc.).
Verify that system enhancements meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, or similar.
Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Assist in automation framework development and maintenance (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or similar).

Preferred candidate profile

Any graduate with relevant experience required to work from office.
