IT Project Manager III

As an IT Project Manager III based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Your role will involve defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, as well as developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and dependencies will be crucial to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget while maintaining high-quality standards. You are expected to possess a strong understanding of core cloud computing concepts, services, and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, and containers. Demonstrating knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform will be essential. Translating technical requirements into actionable project tasks and guiding technical teams effectively will be part of your responsibilities. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, deployments, automation, or operations will be considered an added advantage. In this role, you will act as a central point of contact for seamless communication and collaboration between engineering, product, operations, and other cross-functional teams. Providing regular project status updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership, and identifying and resolving bottlenecks and technical challenges will be key. You will be expected to foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment while championing best practices in technical program management, leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in technical program management within a fast-paced technology environment. A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects, along with excellent understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and cloud technologies, is required. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and drive consensus. Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Asana, and Microsoft Project is expected. Preferred qualifications for this role include prior hands-on experience in cloud environments, certifications in cloud platforms, experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, and vendor management for technical solutions.
