Job Description

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities: Understand M&A Program/Project goals and values and under direction organize projects and activities to plan. Identify and organize priority technology projects from various cross functional groups into a central program. Prioritize tasks and activities within projects with leadership to support the strategic direction and objectives of the IT M&A Program. Create and manage project related documentation like, but not limited to, project plans, work breakdown, technical requirements, release documentation, timelines, and roadmaps Adhere and comply with PMO processes and procedures using project management tools and standards, such as Jira and Confluence Assist in Program and Project administration and coordination Manage project budget and resources Review project documents and identify project deliverables, associated specifications, and completion criteria Take ownership of multiple projects and manage escalations, risk, issues, and decisions Coordinate with internal staff or outside vendors to successfully complete projects Validate and certify the project completion results and manage transition to support team and users Provide risk and issues management for projects Maintain a collaboratively working relationship with project stakeholders Conduct post project evaluation and identify and document lessons learned Monitor quality assurance and project success factors and report results upon project completion Experience Required: 8-10 years in a program and project management or project delivery role (preferably in an investment management firm) Experience managing integration projects (i.e. integration of multiple environments, infrastructure, and systems) Proficient knowledge of technology project and program management concepts, from planning and inception through implementation and support Experience in managing projects encompassing teams and tasks in multiple regions (global) Excel at Risk and Conflict Management Experience in developing and managing project plans, timelines, solutioning sessions and roadmaps Experience of Agile project management methods and tools such as Smartsheet, Jira Confluence Experience working with IT leadership and coordinating focused programs and plans Qualification: PMP Certification would be a plus
