IT Manager/Infrastructure Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, and storage systems
• Monitor Leased Internet lines and WAN links
• Manage Palo Alto firewall configurations and implement strong network security protocols
• Coordinate and prioritize infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations and hardware/software rollouts
• Apply timely OS patches, firmware upgrades, and software updates to all devices
• Conduct system health checks, performance tuning, and validate backups
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues
• Manage IT service desk performance, SLAs, escalations and root cause analysis of recurring issues
• Define standard procedures and track resolution times through SLAs
• Deliver IT training and awareness sessions to staff
• Maintain records of all IT assets and ensure software license compliance
• Perform software audits to minimize risks and optimize usage
• Administer endpoint security systems and antivirus renewals
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance of smart racks, UPS, and hardware repairs
• Lead vendor negotiations and finalize procurement for IT assets and accessories
• Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets based on IT infrastructure needs
• Define IT policies covering security, access control, and best practices
• Conduct IT audits and risk assessments to ensure organizational security
• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, system administrators and support analysts
• Ensure availability, reliability and security of IT infrastructure (on-premises and/or cloud)
• Coordinate and prioritize infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations and hardware/software rollouts
• Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with business needs and drive service improvements
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for hardware, software and managed services

Preferred candidate profile

• Oversee IT security using Palo Alto firewalls and SentinelOne endpoint protection
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Linux environments
• Lead storage management including RAID, backups, replication and disaster recovery
• Supervise CCTV, NVR/DVR systems and biometric access control (Cosec Matrix)
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, performance tuning and provide remote support
• Managing IT procurement and annual budgeting and reporting
• Collaborate with global IT teams on infrastructure projects and strategy
