The candidate will ensure SAP stability, resilience, and efficiency while overseeing vendor governance, change management, and operations. They will support the SAP S/4 transformation and manage operational needs from new acquisitions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Run Day-to-Day Operations: Govern Managed Service Providers (MSP s) to ensure accountability, SLA adherence, and timely resolution of issues. Protect the integrity of critical business cycles including Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End closes by enforcing operational discipline and proactive risk management.

Release Change Management: Oversee all changes to the SAP ecosystem, ensuring controlled releases, risk mitigation, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Vendor Accountability: Through the Service Delivery Manager, hold vendors accountable for ticket resolution quality, SLA performance, and continuous service improvement.

Job Scheduling Batch Operations: Manage and optimize SAP job schedules to support mission-critical business processes and minimize operational risks.

Continuous Improvement through AI Automation: Drive operational efficiency by embedding automation and AI-driven solutions into SAP operations. Focus on reducing manual effort, accelerating issue resolution, and proactively preventing problems to achieve higher service quality at lower cost.

Support Transformation Integration: Partner with program teams to support the SAP S/4 transformation, ensuring operational readiness and resilience. Provide operational expertise to integrate new acquisitions seamlessly into the SAP ecosystem.

Operational Governance: Provide visibility, reporting, and compliance oversight to ensure alignment with enterprise requirements and audit standards.
Required Knowledge and Experience:

bachelors degree, preferably in a technical / Information Technology field

12+ years SAP experience is MUST with strong technical experience preferably with SAP Basis, Technolgy background.

7+ years Lead / 2+ years of Management experience in support mission critical systems and leading cross functional Global SAP teams

Experience working with global teams in a follow-the-sun model; effective working with people and teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

Prior Medtronic / Medical device / Pharma experience is nice to have.

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, specifically as it relates to coaching and mentoring employees and working with service providers
