IT Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute the organizations long-term IT vision and digital strategy.
• Lead IT planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR, SOC2).
• Oversee development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications (SAP Hanna, CRM, HRMS, etc.).
• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, cloud-native, cybersecurity tools).
• Ensure integration, scalability, and modernization of technology systems.
• Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the management of security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Lead the incident response team in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
• Manage IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, and data centres.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all business processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the information security and IT operations teams.
• Set KPIs and manage team performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Optimize costs through consolidation, cloud migration, automation, and vendor negotiations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in information security and IT operations management.
• Experience of defining IT Strategy and Preparing budgets for the IT Organization
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
