Job Description

Storage Management Manage and maintain the organizations data storage systems, ensuring data is organized and accessible
Data Backup and Recovery Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure quick recovery in case of data loss
Storage Solutions Evaluate, select, and implement storage solutions, including storage area networks SAN, network attached storage NAS, and cloud storage
Capacity Planning Assess and plan for storage needs, ensuring adequate capacity to accommodate data growth
Data Security Implement security measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access or breaches
Data Retention Develop and enforce data retention policies, including archiving and data disposal
Monitoring and Optimization Continuously monitor storage systems, optimize performance, and troubleshoot storage related issues
Documentation Maintain detailed records and documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and policies
Disaster Recovery Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure data availability in emergency situations
