IT Infrastructure Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers (Windows & Linux).
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across servers, storage, and networks.
• Perform system backups, patching, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and maintain IT security protocols (antivirus, firewall, access controls).
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file-sharing services.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access rights.
• Coordinate with vendors and third parties for infrastructure support.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, logs, and procedures.
• Co-ordinate with Server Backup team / vendor and maintain proper versions and record
• Coordinate with ERP vendor/consultants for bug fixes and enhancements.
• Assist in ERP software configuration, user creation, and access management
• Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.

Job Description:

• Set up and manage user accounts, workstations, and access permissions.
• Monitor system performance to ensure availability, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, outages, and escalate when required.
• Ensure data security through access controls, password policies, firewalls, and antivirus updates.
• Perform regular system and data backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Upgrade and repair systems with latest releases, patches, and hardware models.
• Provide technical support and user training on new technologies.
• Document processes, IT policies, SOPs, and maintain technical manuals.
• Research and recommend new technologies or improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech (IT/CS), BCA, MCA, or equivalent.

• Experience:

  Fresher (3-5 year).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Quadra, Tally ERP, or any open-source ERP).
• Familiarity with SQL/Excel for data handling is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, logical thinking, and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and user-support skills.
