IT - Information Technology Systems Administration
Key Responsibilities:
# Infrastructure & Systems Administration* Administer servers, desktops, network switches, printers, and associated infrastructure.* Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and peripherals with necessary approvals.* Perform daily system monitoring, log reviews, and ensure scheduled backup operations are completed.* Manage user accounts across IT systems in compliance with SOPs and departmental protocols.* Apply OS and software patches, perform upgrades, and optimize performance as required.* Maintain updated antivirus and security patches, ensuring network security and data protection.* Monitor and ensure network connectivity (LAN/WAN/Internet/Intranet) across the organization.* Administer and maintain physical servers, desktop computers, printers, switches, and backup systems.* Manage VMware ESXi hosts and vSphere environment, including creation, configuration, cloning, snapshot management, and resource allocation for virtual machines.# Backup & Recovery* Conduct daily/weekly/monthly backups verification; ensure successful data recovery procedures.* Manage project data backup, retrieval, and deletion according to SOPs and compliance standards.# Vendor & User Support* Provide daily technical support to end users and escalate complex issues to the HOD or vendors.* Coordinate with telecom vendors for MPLS and connectivity issues and follow up on root cause analysis.# Compliance, Qualification & Validation* Participate in software/hardware qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), preparation and review of validation protocols and reports.* Ensure software and system modifications are qualified appropriately before use.# Quality System Support* Administer applications in the Quality Control department.* Handle QMS-related activities and ensure system documentation is up to date.* Manage and support users on LIMS and eDMS platforms.* Prepare and modify SOPs and validation master plans.* Coordinate and close observations from internal audits and support during regulatory/customer audits.* Initiate, assess, and close change controls in line with corporate procedures.Other Requirements:* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration and quality system environments.* Strong knowledge of server and network infrastructure, backup systems, antivirus, and patch management.* Hands-on experience with GMP-compliant systems, qualification protocols, LIMS/eDMS systems.* Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.* Familiarity with pharma/regulated environments is highly desirable.* Must be flexible with additional responsibilities or changes in job scope as assigned by HOD.* Ability to participate in internal audits, trainings, and regulatory inspection readiness activities.
