IT Help Desk Intern

Role Summary

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and help desk operations within a global technology environment. The intern will work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, assist in system setups, and deliver excellent internal customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• assist users with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• support installation and configuration of computer systems and applications
• document technical issues and resolutions in ticketing tools
• escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate teams as per guidelines
• maintain asset records and support inventory audits
• provide support for email, VPN, and other IT services under supervision
• assist in onboarding support including system setup for new employees

Basic Qualifications

• currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• understanding of basic IT concepts and Microsoft Office Suite
• eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced IT environment

Preferred Qualifications

• coursework or certifications in IT support, hardware, or networking ( CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications)
