IT Head

Job Description We are looking for a senior and experience IT professional who has successfully demonstrated skills in managing IT infrastructure and ERP / Applications teams. As the IT Head the person would be responsible for: • Ensuring 100% availability of IT infrastructure including mission critical / business critical applications. • Setting up and achieving IT team and team members KRAs and KPIs in conjunction with business and production goals. • Working closely with other business leaders to plan the IT infrastructure for the future. • Planning scalable IT infrastructure that is future business ready. • Planning, presenting and taking annual budget approvals in line with business needs. • Timely procuring required IT products, solutions, related hardware as per the business and production forecast. • Taking joint calls with customers in relation to their IT needs / requirements specific to respective production goals. • Maintaining and running a large IT team that comprise of senior, mid-level and production line level (junior) IT resources. • Drafting MSA with ERP vendors, negotiating warranties and service SLAs with various IT vendors and OEMs. • Design, deploy new age industrial revolution 4.0 technologies vis--vis Dashboards, generative AI, Predictive Maintenance and more. Work Experience: • 15 years + • Domain: Manufacturing Preferably Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) • Ably demonstrated running centralized data center serving mission critical application to more than 500 users at one time. • Experience in running manufacturing ERPs vis--vis Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or any other top line manufacturing ERP application. • Designed data center solution based on virtual servers, back up and disaster recovery. • Has deep knowledge, understanding and experience on various Data Center layers: Network Layer, Application Layer and Database Layer. • Has procured and deployed IT infrastructure & ERP solution worth $1.25 Million USD in a year. • Has successfully run multi location operations and managed at least 50+ IT resources directly / indirectly. • Has successfully done application upgrades and migrations with minimum disruption to the operations. • Has deep knowledge of cyber security, DMZ and end point security and used this knowledge to design and deploy various IT solutions. Educational Qualification: • B Tech or Equivalent Qualification • Certifications in IT infrastructure and ERP Infrastructure Management will be preferred. • Should be a life-long learner who keeps upgrading in line with the changed in the IT tech world. • 101 in Data Science, Big Data, AI Tools, Power BI etc. • Certifications in application layer management, data base layer management, network layer management and cyber security management. Skills Required: • First and foremost people management. This is a people’s role. • Leader by example – do it yourself and show to others how to do. • Data Center management skills. • Good working knowledge of the application layer, data layer and the network layer.
