IT Hardware & Network Executive

Job Description: STEMpedia is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient IT Hardware & Network Executive to join our in-office team in Ahmedabad. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and related systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and hands-on troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric systems, CCTV, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across end-user systems and networked devices.
• Manage broadband and ILL internet connections; troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate to ISPs when necessary.
• Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), basic network performance, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory of all IT equipment and networking devices.
• Ensure regular verification of backups and support in implementing disaster recovery protocols.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth deployment of new hardware/software tools.
• Maintain documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure IT compliance with internal security policies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of hardware components, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and peripheral configuration.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
