About the Organization:

YWCA is a leading social organization working for women empowerment. It was established in 1912 and is affiliated to the World YWCA through the National Body, YWCA of India. YWCA of Delhi, provides safe space for women through its Working Women’s Hostels, Shelter Homes. It works towards economic empowerment of women through vocational training and skill development programs, promoting gender equality, child rights, youth leadership, ending violence against women and creating awareness for the areas of work of the YWCA of Delhi.

About the Department:

The Education Institutes (Women’s Training Institute, Ashoka Road and Vocational Training Institute at Dwarka) of the YWCA of Delhi works as a beacon of light imparting high quality vocational education. It aims at the empowering of women by providing them with the necessary skills and motivation to become self-reliant. It provides a platform for vocational education and training through various job-oriented courses.

Qualification

Ø Master’s in Computer Applications/ M.Sc IT/M Tech in Computers

Ø Must be passionate for Teaching and able to teach all the course in IT department – computer programming, Web Designing, Graphic Designing etc.

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years Experience in teaching Computer course in Reputed Institutes/colleges/schools etc

Roles and Responsibilities

Core Functions: Classes to various courses in Information Technology . Should be responsible for Student Activities and code of conduct. Rendering excellent services to students. Responsible for maintaining records and relationships with Alumni, Networking and collaboration with companies for placement, internships, workshops, industry visits and other activities involved in the skill development

Ø The position holder would be responsible to train the students in all Diplomas course of Information Technology.

Ø She would be also responsible for the quality training and counselling of the students.

Ø Plan, organize, and deliver instruction in classrooms and laboratory settings for students

Ø The syllabus should be completed on the given time line. Time to time student's feedback would be taken from the students.

Ø The position holder will be liable for:

· Should be able to maintain a good rapport with the students.

· Should ensure the compliance of the process and systems in the office.

· Should be prompt in replying to student’s queries

· (Active participation and contribution is expected during working hours).

· Should be well versed with virtual platforms for promotions, workshops, webinars

· Should be able to assist other department as and when needed.

Honorarium

Rs.22000/- per month
