Job Description

Role Overview

The IT Executive is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations within the organization. This role includes providing end-user support, managing IT infrastructure, system administration, network troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors. The position also involves maintaining IT asset records, ensuring security compliance, and supporting new implementations to enhance productivity and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

User Support

  • Provide timely technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other office peripherals.

System Administration

  • Manage user accounts, email setups, group policies, and access control in Active Directory and Office 365 environments.

Hardware & Software Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and authorized/licensed software across the organization.

Network Support

  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and related network issues.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for escalations and service restoration.

Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets including hardware, licenses, and accessories.
  • Handle procurement, upgrades, and disposal in line with lifecycle management policies.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor endpoint protection, antivirus, patches, and security policies.
  • Support adherence to IT governance and compliance standards.

Documentation

  • Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, configurations, user guides, and support procedures.

New Implementations

  • Set up and configure new workstations, servers, network devices, and supporting infrastructure for new joiners or business expansion.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor system and network health proactively.
  • Generate reports on performance, usage, and areas of improvement.

Collaboration Tools Support

  • Manage and support business communication tools such as MS Teams, Outlook, Zoom, and other productivity applications.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Competence in IT asset management, vendor coordination, and procurement processes.
  • Good understanding of IT security standards, endpoint protection, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of proven experience in IT support or system administration roles.
  • Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA A+/N+ (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
