Job Description

1. Hardware Management

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other hardware devices.
Perform regular hardware diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and provide timely solutions.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair, replacement, and procurement.
Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and tracking of hardware equipment.

2. IT Asset & Stock Management

Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software licenses, peripherals, etc.).
Track issuance, return, and movement of IT equipment within the organization.
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests when required.
Maintain accurate asset records in IT asset management tools or spreadsheets.
Conduct periodic IT asset audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide L1/L2 support to end-users for IT issues (hardware, software, network).
Install and update operating systems and applications.
Resolve issues related to email, VPN, Wi-Fi, and other IT services.
Guide employees with basic IT best practices and security awareness.

4. Network & System Support

Assist in monitoring and maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, access points).
Support in the configuration of user accounts, passwords, and access control.
Monitor system performance and ensure IT operations run smoothly.

5. IT Documentation & Compliance

Maintain documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and asset records.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and company guidelines.
