Job Description

You are an experienced IT Disaster Recovery Analyst responsible for ensuring the resilience and continuity of critical services and applications. As part of the IT DR Coordination team, your role is crucial in planning, implementing, and enhancing disaster recovery strategies. Working closely with technical teams, you will ensure disaster recovery plans are in place, regularly tested, and compliant with internal standards and regulations. Your responsibilities include coordinating recovery efforts, documenting outcomes, and supporting risk mitigation initiatives to maintain the stability of the IT environment. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in ITDR, IT Operations, or Application Management, along with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and their interdependencies is essential. Preferred skills include experience in defining risk-based standards, crisis management, and audit procedures. You should be passionate about improving customer service, possess excellent planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be proactive in managing pressure situations. Your detailed responsibilities involve working with IT technical staff to ensure adequate disaster recovery solutions, documenting and testing application DR plans, coordinating application tasks for Datacentre DR testing, updating test results in relevant tools, providing feedback for risk management, and ensuring compliance with IT Service Continuity Management standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting Disaster Recovery activities, acting as a liaison for auditing processes, and working collaboratively with Technology owners to address non-compliant areas and track mitigation plans. Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends is required.
