IT Data Strategy and Solutions Leader Location: Bangalore, KA, IN, 560 029 Req ID: 14143 Current employees: Job Title IT Data Strategy and Solutions Leader Location Bangalore About Us Job & Division Summary: Ingersoll Rand is seeking a highly experienced and motivated IT professional to join our Global BI & Analytics team as an IT Data strategy and Solutions leader. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Data Products and Strategy and will play a pivotal hands-on role in enhancing Ingersoll Rand data analytics integration with the rest of our Information systems landscape, fostering innovation across the organization and helping the company to prepare for enhanced Ai/data-driven capabilities. Responsibilities Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with various IT Centers of Excellence (COEs) teams to foster innovation and synergies with the IR analytics team and their platforms and solutions capabilities. System and Architecture Expertise: Discrete Manufacturing SAP experience including experience in Master data, transactional data, finance, supply chain or engineering analysis, data conversions to drive architectural synergies and solutions recommendations. Big Data Technologies: Demonstrate a relentless commitment to learning, implementing and eventually training other teams on novel big data solutions available within Ingersoll Rand. Hands-On Approach: Exhibit a hands-on approach to learning through experience, creating a track record of solutions via individual contributions and collaboration with other COEs. Change Management Champion: Continue to grow as a change management champion, working with different teams on big data and analytics enablement and training. Integrated IT Function: Push the agenda of a more integrated IT function, promoting data literacy and architectural excellence that incorporates both data and information systems solutions. Innovation and Synergies: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for system/analytics architecture and solutions synergies, starting with the SAP space and expanding to other information systems within Ingersoll Rands operating system. Key Requirements Education: A four-year Engineering degree, with MBA preferred. Experience: Discrete Manufacturing experience; Experience in Master data, transactional data, sales, finance, supply chain or engineering analysis, and data conversions. SAP Functional expertise with at least two or more modules experiences in sales, procurement, planning, production, finance, supply chain or engineering.. Data Experience: Extensive experience in handling master and transactional data, having hands-on experience in data extraction, data mapping, data cleansing, data deduplication, data loading and data verification of multiple data objects with at least 3 successful end-to-end implementations. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of information systems, data processes, and programming languages like SAP ABAP, SQL, principles of data engineering, etc. Exposure or willingness to quickly learn big data technologies and solutions like Snowflake. Hands-on integration and ETL tools experience is preferred. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership drive and ambition with a focus on collaboration and fostering innovation across teams. Change Management: Experience in change management, with a focus on big data and analytics enablement and training. Mindset: A growth mindset with a hands-on approach to learning and problem-solving.
