Job Title: IT Compliance Manager (Mid-Level)

Reporting To: Chief Compliance Officer

Job Purpose:

To ensure the banks IT systems, processes, and infrastructure comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The role involves managing IT compliance programs, conducting audits, and supporting risk mitigation efforts across technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Program Management:

• Develop and implement IT compliance frameworks aligned with RBI, SEBI, and global standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Monitor adherence to internal IT policies, data protection laws, and cybersecurity regulations.

• Audit & Risk Assessment:

• Conduct periodic IT compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain documentation of audit findings and remediation efforts.

• Policy & Governance:

• Draft and update IT compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) strategies.

• Regulatory Engagement:

• Liaise with regulators and external auditors during inspections and reviews.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant authorities.

• Incident Management:

• Support investigations of IT-related compliance breaches.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and legal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5- 8 years of experience in IT compliance, audit, or risk management within banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with RBI IT guidelines, DPDP Act, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
