IT Associate

Role Overview: As a Technical Support Associate at Marriott International, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing technical problems related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment. You will respond to program error messages, provide technical guidance to resolve business problems, and maintain and upgrade hardware and software. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair technical problems related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment - Respond to program error messages and correct problems or terminate the program - Provide technical guidance to resolve business problems - Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals and website technical architecture - Report work-related accidents or injuries to management immediately - Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions - Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations - Exchange information with other employees using electronic devices - Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems - Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping - Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: No related work experience required - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None required Additional Information: Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer that values and celebrates the unique backgrounds of its associates.
