Manager IT Application Support

Role & responsibilities

Application Management:

• Manage and oversee key business applications to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
• Handle the full application lifecycle implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing support.

Team Management:

• Lead a team of application support specialists, ensuring effective training, motivation, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors for smooth issue resolution and enhancement delivery.
• Drive continuous skill development and process improvement within the team.

Implementation & Support:

• Oversee implementation of new functionalities or upgrades, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with business requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and service-level performance.
• Provide technical support for escalated (L2/L3) application issues to minimize downtime.

Incident & Change Management:

• Ensure prompt resolution of application incidents and minimize business disruptions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and establish long-term corrective measures.
• Oversee structured change management processes to mitigate risks.

Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance application efficiency and stability.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system performance, and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application management, preferably in retail finance or LAP domain.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IT application management and system integration.
• Basic understanding of application architecture and databases (SQL, etc.).
• Experience managing LOS or similar enterprise applications.
• Sound understanding of security, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
