Location: Ahmedabad

Role Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the organization. This role involves managing multiple digital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation through the implementation of new technologies. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and improving the digital maturity of the organization

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities

Financial

Manage the budget for digital transformation projects and optimize resources.

Ensure cost-effective delivery of IT projects while maintaining quality

Customer

Collaborate with business units to understand their digital needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Enhance the user experience by implementing modern, user-friendly digital tools

Process

Lead the planning, design, and implementation of digital projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope.

Ensure integration of new digital platforms with existing systems to maintain operational consistency.

Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations for digital tools and solutions.

Monitor project performance and address any deviations from the plan to meet key milestones

People

Lead cross-functional teams, including IT staff, external consultants, and business stakeholders, to drive digital projects to completion

Provide coaching and mentorship to team members involved in digital projects

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT team

Key Deliverables

Successful implementation of digital projects within scope, budget, and timelines.

Enhanced digital capabilities across business functions.

Improved efficiency and automation through digital initiatives.

Lead the development and implementation of non-sales applications, including Supply chain, Manufacturing, Finance, HR and Marketing systems.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Manage a team of developers, analysts, and support staff to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Oversee the maintenance and support of existing non-sales applications.

Ensure applications are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Develop and maintain documentation for all non-sales applications and processes.

Role Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience (Type & Nature)

5+ years of experience in managing IT digital projects

Proven experience in implementing large-scale digital transformation projects in FMCG or similar industries

Functional Competencies

Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Strong knowledge of digital technologies (Cloud, AI, Data Analytics, Automation)

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project)

Behavioral Competencies
