IT Administrator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to manage and support the technology infrastructure of our organization. This includes overseeing our internal systems, hardware, software, networking, and IT security, as well as providing support to the team across geographies. The ideal candidate will also assist in the deployment and maintenance of critical platforms such as Seacabbie.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.

· Oversee email, file sharing, backup, and network security systems.

· Provide desktop and system support to internal users for hardware, software, and network issues.

· Monitor and maintain IT assets, licenses, and documentation.

· Install, configure, and upgrade systems and software.

· Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, service, and troubleshooting.

· Manage cybersecurity practices including antivirus updates, firewall rules, and data backups.

· Plan and execute data migrations between platforms or cloud systems, including exporting, cleansing, mapping, and importing data with minimal downtime or data loss.

· Coordinate with software vendors or developers to ensure secure and compliant data transfer between legacy and new systems.

· Help coordinate system rollouts, upgrades, and data migrations.

· Maintain IT helpdesk ticketing and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

· Create SOPs for regular IT tasks and user onboarding/offboarding.

· Ensure compliance with company IT policies, data protection regulations, and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in IT support or system/network administration.

· Proficiency with Windows & Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, TCP/IP), and cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).

· Working knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and best practices.

· Experience with IT asset management and documentation tools.

· Exposure to API integrations and platforms like Jira, Slack, etc., is a plus.

· Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple locations or time zones.

· Familiarity with maritime or logistics IT systems is a bonus.

· Ability to work independently and handle IT emergencies outside normal hours if required.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
