IT Administrator

You are a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator at Plus Max Group of Companies, responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, managing and supporting network systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. Your key role involves maintaining the security, reliability, and functionality of IT operations. Your responsibilities include: - System & Network Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and network devices. Managing local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) for seamless connectivity. Performing network monitoring to ensure availability and reliability. - Hardware & Software Management: Overseeing installation and updates of operating systems, software applications, and security patches. Maintaining IT hardware and software inventory. Resolving hardware, software, and networking issues. - Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Deploying and managing cloud-based virtual machines, load balancers, and containerized services. Automating infrastructure provisioning and scaling using IaC tools. - Server Administration: Managing physical and virtualized servers (Windows/Linux/Unix) in data centers or cloud environments. Configuring and optimizing server performance. Performing regular updates, patches, and upgrades. - Security Administration: Implementing and monitoring security policies. Configuring firewalls, anti-virus, and backup solutions. Conducting audits and vulnerability assessments. - User Support & Training: Providing technical support, training staff on IT systems/tools, managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords. - Backup and Disaster Recovery: Ensuring data backups, implementing disaster recovery plans. - Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation, generating reports on system performance, network status, and security events. - Vendor Management: Coordinating with vendors for IT equipment/services, evaluating new technologies. You should have: - Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Experience: 5-10 years in IT administration or related role. - Technical Skills: Strong networking knowledge, cloud services familiarity, Active Directory proficiency, virtualization experience. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Certifications: CompTIA Network+, MCSE, CCNA (preferred). This is a full-time, permanent role based in Poolambadi, TamilNadu, India, with flexibility to travel to branches in different countries.,
