Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IPDRG Coder located in Kolkata. The IPDRG Coder will be responsible for accurately coding inpatient cases using ICD-10-CM and PCS coding guidelines. The tasks include reviewing medical records to ensure proper coding of diagnoses and procedures, maintaining coding accuracy, and compliance with both federal and state regulations. The role also involves regular communication with healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis and treatment queries, ensuring documentation meets required standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in inpatient coding using ICD-10-CM and PCS coding guidelines
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to review and interpret medical records and clinical documentation
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to coding and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC) is preferred
• Experience in an on-site healthcare setting is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,127.63 - ₹26,586.69 per month
